North York Moors Coastal Trail Run : Ravenscar, 24 Oct 2026
The event is held at Ravenscar and the courses lie wholly within the North York Moors National Park. Routes use sections of the Cleveland Way and run across moorland and grassland on moderate terrain. The courses pass dry stone walls, disused railway lines and open moorland with grazing sheep. Whitby Abbey is a few miles away.

Total ascent varies by distance, from 863 ft on the shortest route up to 4,051 ft on the ultra. The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026–27 season and awards leaderboard points to finishers. Courses are fully marked and use electronic timing; finishers receive a medal and an energy bar. Multiple on-site amenities are provided and participant information is available in a participant manual and a spectator information document.
Online check-in is required in advance and includes confirmation of emergency contact details and viewing a mandatory event safety video.
