Endurancelife North York Moors event
The event on 24 October 2026 takes place at Ravenscar within the North York Moors National Park. Courses run wholly inside the park and use sections of the Cleveland Way. Terrain is described as moderate and includes moorland and grassland.
The event offers four distance categories. Each course features open moorland scenery, dry stone walls, old railway lines and grazing sheep typical of the area. Whitby Abbey lies a few miles away from the event location.
Distances and ascent:
- 10K (8.0 mi) - ascent 863 ft
- Half Marathon (15 mi) - ascent 1,982 ft
- Marathon (26.5 mi) - ascent 3,209 ft
- Ultra (34.3 mi) - ascent 4,051 ft
The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026–2027 trail running season and contributes points to the season leaderboard. Registered participants will be asked to check in online about two weeks before the event; the check in includes confirming emergency contact details and watching a mandatory event safety video.
