Elysian Capitol Hill 5K Beer Run : Washington Brewery Running Series
The event is a 5k-ish fun run that starts and ends at Elysian Brewing - Capitol Hill in Seattle. Participants may run, jog, or walk an untimed, non-competitive course that has been mapped to include Volunteer Park and nearby streets. The course takes place on public roads, so participants are expected to obey traffic laws and be aware of their surroundings.
Registration is limited to the size of the taproom and the event proceeds include a donation component: 10% of proceeds from this run benefit the Seattle Latino Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. The event is described as family friendly and pet friendly, and it will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds.
Entry includes one craft beverage from Elysian Brewing - Capitol Hill for those 21 and older; valid ID is required for alcohol. Underage participants receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage. Registrations also receive a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item and access to on-site entertainment, games, raffle prizes, and giveaways.
