Squak Mountain Trail Runs take place on April 18, 2026, at Squak Mountain State Park, 21492 SE May Valley Rd, Issaquah, Washington. The event is organized by Evergreen Trail Runs and offers the following distances:
- 12K
- Half marathon
- 50K
A Kids Race and a 12K Brunch Run are also listed as part of the day. The half-marathon is a qualifying race for points in the Vert Running Series by Mountain Running Races.
Course and logistics
All distances start and finish at the main Squak Mountain Trailhead and begin with a steady climb. The event uses three loop courses: a 12K loop, a half-marathon loop, and a 50K loop. The 50K course includes the half-marathon loop twice. Routes cross summit peaks and descend past the historic Bullitt homestead remnants. Trails remain open to other users during the event, including equestrians on the first small loop and hikers.
Elevation gain is listed as: 12K 1800', half marathon 3400', and 50K 8300'. Aid stations are located as follows: 12K at 3.4 miles; half marathon at 6.2 and 9.7 miles; 50K at 6.2, 9.7, 13.0, 19.2, 22.7, and 26.0 miles. The event is cupless; all participants must carry a refillable container. A Discover Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
