About the race
The I Love the 90s 5K is an annual themed run held at Green Lake Park in Seattle, located on the east side of the Green Lake Community Center with the start and finish outside the center. The event features 1990s music and themed photo backdrops. Participants receive a custom finisher medal made from reclaimed wood to reduce metal waste, professional free race photos, a guaranteed long sleeve shirt and size for registrations completed by 3/30/26, and additional swag while supplies last. Shirt size updates must be submitted by the stated deadline; exchanges will not be permitted until after the event if the deadline is missed.
Finish line goodies are provided. Event services include pre-race packet pickup and on-site photo opportunities. A course map is available for the 5K route. The event description notes prizes and items such as a reusable bag for registrations by 3/30/26. Medals are produced from reclaimed wood through a reclamation process intended to keep material out of landfills.
The organizer lists professional photos and photo backdrops among the offerings and describes the event as an opportunity to combine running with 1990s music and visual themes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
