Ellesmere 10K Run

Ellesmere 10K is organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events and takes place on 23 August 2026. The race start and finish are located on Scotland Street in the centre of Ellesmere. The route combines town centre streets, countryside lanes and the grounds of Ellesmere College, with a mix of faster sections and some small inclines.

Roads on the course will be fully closed for runner safety and will reopen in line with the race cutoff of 90 minutes. Residents and spectators should follow marshal instructions and use diversion routes where indicated. The town centre has multiple car parks within about a five minute walk of the start and finish area.

Race facilities include a help desk, music at the event hub and a suggested single water station around the halfway point plus water at the start and finish area. Runners receive a finishers medal and event goodies. The minimum age to enter is 15 years old.

Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers and there are seven age group awards for both male and female categories. The event charity partner is The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
