About the race
The Eden Triathlon League event at Great Brak River is the first league race of the 2026/27 Eden Triathlon season. It features multisport triathlon races with solo and team options across three distance formats and specified minimum ages.
Distances and entry categories include:
- Sprint Tri Solo, Swim 750 m, Cycle 20 km, Run 5 km.
- Sprint Tri Team, Swim 750 m, Cycle 20 km, Run 5 km.
- Super Sprint Tri Solo, Swim 400 m, Cycle 10 km, Run 2.5 km.
- Super Sprint Tri Team, Swim 400 m, Cycle 10 km, Run 2.5 km.
- Standard Tri Solo & AquaBike, Swim 1.5 km, Cycle 40 km, Run 10 km; solo min age 18.
- Standard Tri Team, Swim 1.5 km, Cycle 40 km, Run 10 km; team min age 16.
Entry fees are stated per category: Standard R290, Sprint R230, Super Sprint R180, with the same team pricing where listed. Day licenses apply for non-TSA license holders: R50 for Super Sprint and Sprint, R120 for Standard; yearly TSA license options are also listed by the organiser. A R50 late entry fee applies for on-the-day entries. Athletes are asked to bring their own race belt. Venue is Great Brak River, Groot Brakrivier, Western Cape, South Africa.
