Eden Rift Wine Run 5k
The Eden Rift Wine Run is a chip timed 5k run/walk held at Eden Rift Vineyards in Hollister, California. The course starts and finishes at the winery and is mostly paved with some areas of uneven footing. An interactive course map is available and the course is open to both runners and walkers.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib with chip timing, and a pour of wine. Results are posted online. Packet pickup takes place on the day of the event and begins about one hour before the race.
The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each 10 year age category: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. Age group medals are available for pickup on the day of the event and will not be shipped. Competitive runners should start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards.
Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib; minors do not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not permitted on site due to USDA farm rules.
