Back the Blue - Gilroy
Back the Blue is a community running event at Christmas Hill Park (Ranch Side) in Gilroy, California. The event includes multiple running and rucking options and features family-oriented activities and first responder displays.

- 5K Ruck (weighted backpack ruck category with pack weighing before the race)
The route begins at Christmas Hill Park and continues along the Uvas Creek Levee Trail. The course is mainly flat and paved with visibly marked turnaround points and a scenic riverside setting.
Event features include vendor booths, food vendors, finisher medals, and a Kids Corner with face painting and crafts. Strollers are allowed with a request to start toward the back of the group. Pets are not permitted.
Registration and packet details: registration for entries closes October 23, 2026, and the deadline to be guaranteed a T-shirt is October 2, 2026. Race packets and T-shirts are available for in-person pickup on November 5 and November 6 at Under Armour Outlet, 8300 Arroyo Circle Suite 220, and race day check-in begins at Christmas Hill Park the morning of the event.
