Eddy Trail Races
The Eddy Trail Races take place at the Chi Rho Center on the south side of Lake Sylvia, located near Annandale, Minnesota. The event features two distinct distances that utilize the terrain within the Stanley Eddy Park Reserve.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 32.2 miles (Big Eddy 50k)
- 13.1 miles (The Eddy Half Marathon)
The 32.2 mile course consists of loops through the park units, connected by local roads. This route covers approximately 51 to 52 kilometers. It features a high density of support, with one main aid station visited six times and three secondary aid stations visited twice each, totaling 12 support points throughout the distance.
The 13.1 mile course follows a mixed-surface route. It includes 8 miles of trails, 3 miles of gravel, and sections of paved road at the beginning and end of the race. This course includes three aid stations, one of which is passed three times. The terrain in the Stanley Eddy Park Reserve is hilly and scenic.
The event is hosted at a venue that offers on-site lodging and meal options at the Chi Rho Center. The finish line is located near the lake, allowing participants to access the water after completing their distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
