About the race
The Forge Fitness Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 26, 2026, in downtown Buffalo, Minnesota, at 120 1st St S. This is the fourth annual edition and features a 5K run/walk. The event is family-friendly and dog-friendly; strollers are encouraged and dogs must be leashed. The 5K is not a timed or chipped race.
Registration opens on February 11, 2026. Adult registration (18+) is priced at $38 through September 30, 2026, and increases to $50 starting October 1, 2026. Participants who register by October 25, 2026, are guaranteed an event shirt, breakfast provided by Forget Me Not Cafe, hot coffee and cider, event swag, and a raffle ticket. Late registration after October 25, 2026, carries a fee of $25 but does not include a shirt; a limited number of shirts may be available for purchase on the day of the event. Youth registration (under 18) is $10 and includes breakfast, coffee and cider, and event swag; it does not include an event shirt or a raffle ticket.
All proceeds from the event are being donated to YOUth Rising, a local organization that supports healthy development through education, community engagement, and youth leadership. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
