Logistics and rules
Packet pickup provides bibs, timing chips, and event t-shirts. Participants receive a colored wristband that is required for access to the Transition Area. Relay teams receive one bib and the team captain must pick up packets. The bike course is open to traffic, marked with paint, arrows, cones, and volunteers; drafting is prohibited and helmets are mandatory. Wetsuits and personal swim caps are allowed, but each swimmer must supply a cap. Body marking is required. Headphones are allowed on the run but not on the bike. The course has an enforced time cap; participants estimated to finish after the cap will be asked to exit or finish without support. Water stations, medical staff near the finish area, porta-potties, and a sag wagon for transport are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
