Event Overview
The Big Lake Graniteman Triathlon is held annually in early August at Lakeside Park. Located in Big Lake, Minnesota, the venue is approximately 30 minutes from both the Twin Cities and St. Cloud. The event utilizes the natural features of the park and the surrounding area for the three disciplines of the triathlon.
Participants complete a swim in the waters of Big Lake before transitioning to the cycling portion. The bike course is characterized as one of the flattest in the state. The final segment is a lakeside run that both begins and ends within the park grounds.
