Easterseals 5K Your Way
The Easterseals 5K Your Way is an inclusive athletic event held in Salisbury, Maryland. The event provides opportunities for participants to complete a 3.1-mile course through several different participation methods. The activities are hosted at Salisbury Bible Fellowship, with the route designed to be fully accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and athletes of all abilities.
Participants can choose from the following event categories:
- 5k Run: A timed event utilizing MyLaps BibTag timing systems provided by TCR Event Management.
- 5k Walk: A dedicated walking category where jogging and running are restricted.
The course is located at 1500 Court Plaza Lane, and free parking is available directly across from the venue. Participants who register by April 3 are guaranteed an event T-shirt. On the morning of the event, attendees can browse gift baskets and purchase raffle tickets prior to the start. An award ceremony follows the physical activities, recognizing the top three overall male and female finishers in the run, as well as various age group winners.
The event serves as a fundraiser to support local children's therapy services and disability support programs in the Salisbury community. All proceeds assist Easterseals Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore in providing services that promote equality and independence for neighbors with disabilities.
