Event overview
The 2026 Easter event on April 5, 2026, at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg, VA includes road running distances and a kids 1-mile. Walkers and strollers are welcome. The event supports the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. Registered finishers receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and the event is chip timed.

Course, services, and logistics
The course uses paved park paths along the Rappahannock River and includes a few small hills. The 5k is an out-and-back; the 10k repeats the 5k course. The 10k has five water stations at about miles 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2; the 5k has two water stations at about miles 1 and 2.1. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the parking lot. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; t-shirt sizes are guaranteed for runners registered before March 25. Entry fees listed include early and late prices, with specified increases after March 15 and an additional increase on race morning. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in listed age categories; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards.
