2027 Easter 5k, 10k, & 1M
The event on March 28, 2027 takes place at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg, Virginia, along the Rappahannock River. The course uses a paved park path with a few small hills and runs beside the river. The 5k is an out-and-back route and the 10k covers the 5k course twice. A separate 1-mile category is offered for children.
Distances:
- Kids 1-Miler
- 5k out-and-back on the paved river path
- 10k as two laps of the 5k course
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for entrants registered before March 25; extras may be available later on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees are listed by category and increase on race morning. A virtual run option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person.
The race awards the top three men and women overall and first and second place in multiple age groups from 19 and under through 70 plus. Results are posted live and final results with series points are published after the race. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Kids, and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series.
Five water stations are planned along the 10k and two along the 5k. Parking is available within Old Mill Park at coordinates 38.317075, -77.468328. The event benefits the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. Race day packet pickup and race day registration are available; t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registrants. The event is managed as an all-weather race though officials may delay or change plans for severe conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
