Easter 5k, 10k, and 1 Miler
The event on March 28, 2027 is held at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg and offers three race distances. The course runs along the Rappahannock River on a paved path with a few small hills. The 5k is an out-and-back course and the 10k repeats the 5k route twice. Walkers and strollers are welcome and a virtual race option is available.

Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical drifit event shirt and the event is chip timed. Points earned count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Kids, and Back of the Pack Series and also toward the Spring Series. The race benefits the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.
Logistics include on-site packet pickup and race day registration. T shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed before March 25 and extras are available first-come first-served. Water stations are placed along the courses: five stations on the 10k at approximate mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1 and 5.2, and two stations on the 5k at approximate mile markers 1 and 2.1. Restrooms are located near the park parking area. Results are posted live and final results with series points are published after the event.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
