The courses follow a flat road closed layout on a loop around West Newton and New Ellerby, approximately eight miles from Hull city centre. The event uses chip timing and provides a unique themed medal, free race photos and post-race goodies as part of entry.
On-course marshals guide and support participants. An event village offers a range of food and drink options, with additional free items supplied by partner organisations at the finish. Sustainability is noted as an area of focus for the organiser.
