The event is scheduled for 20 Sep 2026 at Waid Academy, St. Andrews Road, Anstruther. It is a Scottish Athletics permit event held under UK Athletics rules and uses a fast out and back course. Toilets are available in the Waid main building.
Race numbers will be available to collect on the day. Entry may be available on the day subject to places remaining. The event is subject to license and the organiser is Anster Haddies Running Clib. Total places are 200.
Distances
- 10 km race on an out and back course
- 1 km Family Fun Run held in the Waid Academy playing fields
Prizes are sponsored by Anstruther Fish Bar. Awards are given for first, second and third male and female overall, first in each age category with a minimum of three entrants, and first male and female team with three to count.
Age categories include Junior 17-19, Senior 20-39, Veteran 40-49, Super Veteran 50-59, Vintage 60-69 and Super vintage 70 plus.
Entry fees are listed with standard and discounted rates for members of SA EA WA. On day entry fees may differ if places remain. By entering, participants agree that personal information may be published in results and passed to governing bodies or affiliated organisations.
