East Leake 'End of Season' Triathlon
East Leake 'End of Season' Triathlon is a late season multisport event held at East Leake Leisure Centre near Loughborough. The event offers pool-based swims, on-road cycling and mixed-surface running, and runs as part of a wider triathlon programme organised by Endorphin Sport.
Distances offered:
- Sprint: 400m swim / 22 km bike / 5 km run
- Super Sprint: 200m swim / 10 km bike / 2.5 km run
- Junior/Youth (17-19): 400m swim / 22 km bike / 5 km run
- Sprint Aquabike: 400m swim / 22 km bike
- Sprint Aquathlon: 400m swim / 5 km run
- Relay teams: 400m swim / 22 km bike / 5 km run
The pool swim takes place in a 4-lane, 25m pool with swimmers organised into waves and is followed by a short run to the transition area. Bike courses are out-and-back on open roads, described as undulating with no hills, and run routes combine pavement and hard-packed bridleway over lap-based circuits. Timing is by professional chip timing with online results. The event village includes food and barista coffee vendors and an independent sports retailer presence.
Facilities and services include fully marked courses, a professional medical and safety crew, accessible parking and toilets including baby changing, bespoke eco medals, age group and category prizes, and an organised beginners workshop with a coached pool session.
