Robin Hood Half Marathon, Nottingham (27 September 2026)
The event includes the Robin Hood Half Marathon, the Robin Hood Mini Marathon and the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge, held in Nottingham at Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground, The Meadows, NG2 2JY. The 2026 event marks 45 years of running in Nottingham.
Distances
- Half Marathon: 21 km / 13.1 miles
- Mini Marathon: 2.5 km / 1.5 miles
Entry and age rules are set for each race. Half Marathon participants must be at least 17 years of age on race day. Mini Marathon participants must be at least 4 years of age; any child under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who has also entered. There is no upper age limit for any race.
The course is undulating and is run predominantly on roads, with some rougher or occasionally uneven sections. There are four water stations on the course at approximately three mile intervals and toilets at each water station. The route is marshalled at junctions and medical services are provided around the course and in the Race Village. Pace runners are available for a range of target finish times.
The Race Village at Victoria Embankment offers baggage tents, merchandise, first aid, refreshments, a VIP tent, massage and physio, toilets, a help desk and entertainment. Race packs can be posted or collected and the race guide will be available online. Provisional results are published shortly after runners finish and official results are confirmed within three to five working days. All finishers receive a medal.
