Events
The event includes three separate races:
- Robin Hood Half Marathon: A 21 km or 13.1 mile course.
- Robin Hood Mini Marathon: A 2.5 km or 1.5 mile course.
- Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge: A team competition involving participants from the Half Marathon and Mini Marathon.
All three events take place on the same day in Nottingham.
Course and Logistics
The Half Marathon and Mini Marathon courses are undulating and run predominantly on roads. There are areas with rougher or occasionally uneven surfaces.
The Race Village is located at Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground in Nottingham. Baggage storage is available there, but there are no showers or changing facilities. The village opens early on race day and features facilities like a help desk, first aid, refreshments, toilets, and a merchandise tent.
On the Half Marathon course, there are four water stations at approximately 3-mile intervals. Toilets and medical services are also available along the route. The course is fully marshaled.
Participation and Rules
The minimum age to participate is 17 years for the Half Marathon and 4 years for the Mini Marathon. Children under 11 in the Mini Marathon must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Participants start in color-coded zones based on their estimated finish time. The event uses a wave start system. A time limit of approximately four hours applies to the Half Marathon to facilitate road reopening.
The event offers pace runners for the Half Marathon at various intervals. The use of bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, or stilts is not permitted. While bone conduction headphones are allowed under UKA rules, their use is not recommended for safety.
Registration and Services
Entries must be made online; no entries are accepted on race day. Group entries are possible for ten or more participants. Race packs, which include the bib number with an attached timing chip, are available for collection in the days before the event or can be posted for an additional fee.
All finishers receive a medal. Official race photography and merchandise, including finisher t-shirts, are available. A VIP entry option includes a performance t-shirt, access to a hospitality tent, a post-race massage, and refreshments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
