Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathon
The Robin Hood event in Nottingham comprises a Half Marathon, a Mini Marathon and the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge. The 2026 race day is scheduled for Sunday 27 September 2026 and the Race Village is based at Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground, The Meadows, NG2 2JY.
The event offers the following distances:
- Half Marathon 21 km (13.1 miles)
- Mini Marathon 2.5 km (1.5 miles)
The course is undulating and is run predominantly on the road, with some rougher or occasionally uneven sections. There are four water stations on the Half Marathon course at roughly three mile intervals, and toilets are available at each water station. Pace runners are provided to assist with target times and they run to chip time. Medical cover is provided on the route and in the Race Village.
Race Village facilities include baggage tents, a merchandise tent, first aid, massage and physio, a VIP tent, toilets and a Help Desk. Race packs may be posted or collected from the Race Village; replacements can be obtained at the Help Desk with proof of entry and photo ID. The timing chip is attached to the back of the race bib and all finishers who cross the line receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
