Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathon
The Robin Hood event in Nottingham stages a Half Marathon and a Mini Marathon on Sunday 27th September 2026 with race activity centred at Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground, The Meadows, NG2 2JY. General entries for 2026 are closed, with a limited number of charity places still available.
Distances:
- Half Marathon: 21K / 13.1 miles
- Mini Marathon: 2.5 km / 1.5 miles
The course is undulating and is run predominantly on road, with some sections that can be rough or uneven. There are four water stations on course at approximately three mile intervals; toilets are provided at each water station. Medical cover is provided by St John Ambulance and EMAS and is positioned around the course, at the start area and in the Race Village.
Race Village facilities at Victoria Embankment include a merchandise tent, first aid, refreshments, a VIP area, massage and physio services, toilets and a Help Desk. Baggage tents are available; baggage labels match race numbers and bags are reclaimed by showing the runner’s race number. Race packs can be collected from the Race Village on the designated collection days or posted if postage was requested. Age limits apply: Half Marathon entrants must be at least 17 on race day; Mini Marathon entrants must be at least 4, and children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult who is also entered.
