East Haven Community Classic
The East Haven Community Classic is scheduled for September 13, 2026, at the East Haven Town Green on Hemingway Avenue in East Haven, CT. The main event is a 5K road race that follows a flat, fast course through residential neighborhoods and the East Haven business district, passing Town Hall and the historic Old Stone Church.
Advance packet pick-up is available the day before the race at Marathon Sports in Branford, and same-day packet pick-up is available on race morning. Registration is handled online only and remains open until shortly before the race.

- 5K for handcycle or racing wheelchair
- Almost a Mile Fun Run
Entry fees change before and after September 6; early entry is listed as $30 plus processing fees and later entry as $35 plus processing fees. Participants 18 years and under have a reduced fee of $15. A group discount applies for three to four participants, with a percentage discount applied to the second through fourth registrants.
Awards recognize first overall 5K male, female, and non-binary finishers, top age-group finishers across standard age ranges (12 and under through 80+), top three non-binary finishers, and a finisher medal is provided to all 5K participants.
