East Fife Triathlon Festival 2027
The event takes place in Cupar, Scotland on 11 April 2027 across Cupar Sports Centre, Bell Baxter High School and Duffus Park. It includes pool based swims at Cupar Sports Centre, closed road cycling sections and mixed terrain runs on paths and sports fields. A large transition area is provided on a 3G pitch and the finish line for races is positioned in front of the Howe of Fife Rugby Club stand on Duffus Park.
Expected competitor numbers are around 250. Event facilities include chip timing, published results on the event website, showers and toilets. Entries open 1 January 2027.
Race distances include:
- Novice Triathlon: 400 m swim, 8.5 km bike, 3.2 km run
- Sprint Aquabike: 750 m swim, 25.5 km bike
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 25.5 km bike, 5 km run
- Tristars 1 age 9 to 10: 100 m swim, 3.3 km bike, 1.3 km run
- Tristars 2 age 11 to 12: 200 m swim, 5.2 km bike, 1.8 km run
- Tristars 3 age 13 to 14: 300 m swim, 6.1 km bike, 3.2 km run
- Tristars Start age 8: 50 m swim, 1.5 km bike, 650 m run
Junior races cover ages 8 to 14 and use pool swims, cycling on closed roads and mixed surface runs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
