About the race
Glamis Castle Festive Trail Runs take place within the private grounds of Glamis Castle in Angus, Scotland. The event offers measured trail routes through woodland and parkland on the castle estate.
Distances include:
- Festive Family 1 mile for ages 3 to 11; adult guardian runs for free.
- Festive 5 mile trail run for ages 11 and over.
- Festive 10 mile trail run as two laps for ages 15 and over.
The event is canicross friendly for the 5 mile and 10 mile races; the Family mile is excluded. One well controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead at all times.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North to deliver instant and accurate race results. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal intended for a tree, Wild Deer merchandise, and a festive snack and drink; children receive a selection box. A custom event T shirt is available for £14.00 as an optional purchase. Parking is available on site for participants and spectators.
