Glamis Castle Festive Trail Runs : overview
The event takes place at Glamis Castle, Angus, DD8 1RK on 6 December 2026. The venue includes woodland and parkland within the castle estate. Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North. Route maps are available for the Family 1 mile, the 5 mile and the 10 mile (the 10 mile is two laps). Parking is available on-site for participants and spectators. The event is canicross-friendly for the 5 mile and 10 mile only: one well-controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead. Finishers receive a bespoke event bauble, Wild Deer merchandise and a festive snack and drink; children receive a selection box. A custom event T-shirt can be added during registration for £12.00.

Entry and practical details
The Festive Family 1 mile is for ages 3 to 11 and an adult guardian may run free. Published entry prices and remaining places: Family 1 mile £12 + fee (50 places remaining); 5 mile £26 + fee (198 remaining); 10 mile £28 + fee (193 remaining). Options with a T-shirt: 5 mile with T-shirt £38 + fee (49 remaining); 10 mile with T-shirt £40 + fee (50 remaining). Registration opens 12 December 2025 and closes 3 December 2026.
