Routes and facilities

All routes start at Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club and use the South West Coast Path to West Down Beacon before heading inland across Woodbury Common. The half route stays on the western side of the Otter Valley and avoids the biggest hills. The marathon and ultra cross the Otter Valley and include larger climbs; the ultra also crosses the Sid Valley and returns via the South West Coast Path. A suggested route and GPX file will be available, and Explorer 115 (Exmouth and Sidmouth) is the recommended map. One trigpoint (Buckton Hill) is currently inaccessible; a wooden signpost on the bridleway is given as an alternative. Event base facilities include car parking, a bar, a cafe and hot showers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
