East Bay Turkey Trot - Bristol
The Bristol County Lions Club hosts the East Bay Turkey Trot at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI. The event uses a scenic loop through the park that covers about 3 miles when run as two laps. Participants may run, walk, or trot and start and finish near the historic stone barn at the park offices.
The event includes a costume contest with prizes and awards for race winners. Attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food items to support the East Bay Food Pantry. The organizer states that 100% of event proceeds go to the East Bay Food Pantry and local charitable initiatives.
Registration is by pre-registration or mobile registration; park rules do not allow cash registration on site. Organizers recommend signing and bringing a waiver; one waiver is sufficient per family. The event is planned to run rain or shine. Free parking is available below the stone barn on the park grounds. A new event T-shirt design is noted for 2026. The organizer’s refund policy allows refunds up to seven days before the event.
