Gobble Wobble 5K – Thanksgiving Day
The Gobble Wobble is a fundraising 5K held on Thanksgiving Day at the Pleasant Street Branch in Attleboro. The course is described as flat and fast and is open to individuals and teams. The event offers a participant T-shirt, pre-race refreshments, and medals and awards for top finishers.
Child Watch is available for the children of runners, allowing both parents to participate. Awards include top three male and female overall finishers and top three male and female finishers age 12 and under.
Early bib pickup is scheduled in the days before the event, and race morning pickup will take place at the Pleasant Street Branch where the event is held.
Race proceeds support the Attleboro Norton YMCA Annual Campaign. Funds are used for camp scholarships for children from low-income families, free swim lessons for second graders as part of a drowning prevention initiative, programs that address food insecurity including senior meals and grocery programs, and other community services provided by the Y.
