Gobble Wobble 5K – Thanksgiving Day
The Gobble Wobble is a community fundraising event held on Thanksgiving Day at the Pleasant Street Branch in Attleboro. The event features a flat, fast 5K course described as suitable for runners seeking a personal record as well as those running their first 5K. Participants may register as individuals or as part of a team.
Race proceeds support the Attleboro Norton YMCA Annual Campaign. Funds help provide camp scholarships for children from low-income families, free swim lessons for second graders as part of a drowning prevention initiative, and programs that address food insecurity such as Senior Meals and grocery programs.
There are participant benefits and logistics noted in advance. A complimentary event T-shirt is available for those who register before November 6, 2026. Registration fees are $30 if completed by November 1 and $35 after that date. Early bib pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25, both from 2 pm to 7 pm. Race morning bib and shirt pickup will take place at the Pleasant Street Branch. The event includes medals and awards for top finishers, pre-race refreshments, and Child Watch for participants’ children; both parents may run the race.
