Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot 5K
The Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026 at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, RI. The event includes a main 5K, a Youth Race for ages 12 and under, and a virtual 5K option. The 5K features an on field finish inside the stadium and a post race area at the AAA Insurance Market Plaza with a bar that accepts credit cards only.
The event is capped at 3,000 participants. Youth runners complete one loop inside the stadium starting and finishing at the 5K finish line. Parents may run with their children and walkers are permitted. T shirts are provided to 5K and Kids Race participants who preregister before race day; shirts are not guaranteed for on site registrants.
Safety and event policies include a requirement that participants using baby strollers line up at the back and that no pets are allowed. There are no refunds for this event.
Virtual participants may collect shirts at pre race packet pickup or have shirts mailed after the event. Virtual results can be submitted through the event series system and virtual entries count toward several race series including the Run Rhody Grand Slam, the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, and the Tour de Patrick series.
Awards are given to top finishers overall and by age group, and team awards are scored by chip time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
