Event Information
The Earth Day 5K Run/Walk is the 27th annual edition of this event. The race raises funds for the Conch Republic Marine Army, an organization dedicated to cleaning and restoring mangrove habitats in the Florida Keys.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Truman Waterfront Park in Key West, Florida. The course begins and ends near the Ingham ship and consists of three loops along the park's promenade. The registration fee is $25, with a fee of $0 for participants aged 0-5. The event is open to people aged 1-99.
Registration and packet pickup are available on the Friday before the event from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Truman Waterfront Park by the Ingham ship. On race day, registration and packet pickup are available on-site from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM.
Awards are given to age-group winners. There is a raffle for local prizes, and all participants are automatically entered. The first 150 participants receive a t-shirt. The event also features a shoe collection program in partnership with Sneakers4Good, which donates used running shoes to micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries.
