Reduce, Reuse, ReRun: 5K Earth Day Pub Run
The Reduce, Reuse, ReRun: 5K Earth Day Pub Run is a chip-timed 5K that takes place during the regular Wednesday night Pub Run organized by Fleet Feet Mishawaka. The event repurposes race items from past events. Runners receive randomly assigned race bibs from previous Fleet Feet events and mismatched medals, including donated medals from the local running community. An optional shirt grab bag is available for $5; sizes are guaranteed but designs are a surprise.
A gear swap runs alongside the race. Participants may bring one gently used running item to drop off before the start, then browse and take one new-to-you item after finishing the 5K. Worn-out athletic footwear can be turned in for a $10 off coupon to use toward a new pair at Fleet Feet Mishawaka; the coupon is valid through April 26.
New Balance is listed as a sponsor for Quarter 2 and is expected to provide an on-site shoe demo so attendees can test New Balance models.
