Eager Beaver Run
The Eager Beaver Run is a community running event held in Downtown Wilton, Iowa (499 E Wate St) on August 22, 2026. The program includes a 5K Run/Walk and a separate 1-mile race for children 14 and under. Packet pickup is available at the registration tent on the day of the event.

The 5K is divided into age-group divisions including 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. The 1-mile has children’s divisions for ages 4-5, 6-7, 8-10, 11-12, and 13-14. Awards include overall trophies for men and women in the 5K and for boys and girls in the 1-mile. First, second, and third place medals are given in each age group, and participation ribbons are provided to all participants. All awards are presented after the 1-mile race near the registration tent.
