Blue Grass Days 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run
Blue Grass Days takes place Friday, June 5, 2026, in Blue Grass, IA at the Blue Grass Community Club. The event includes timed and untimed runs on streets surrounding Blue Grass, with the 5K starting and ending at the Community Club.

Pre-registration fees are listed for each category through June 3 at 11:59 PM US/Central: $25 for the 5K, free for military veterans, and $10 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. A shirt add-on is available for $5 if requested by May 15; no shirts will be available after May 15.
Packet pick-up is scheduled Thursday, June 4 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Blue Grass Community Club. Packets may also be picked up the night of the race between 4:00 and 6:45.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over. The 1 Mile Fun Run offers ribbons to all participants and a trophy to the overall male and female. Awards are presented at the race site following the race.
Refreshments such as water, popsicles, and cookies will be available after the race. Proceeds benefit the Blue Grass Community Center and the community. Chip timing will be used. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
