Blue Grass Days 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Blue Grass Days includes a community 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run for ages 12 and under in Blue Grass, Iowa, with the Blue Grass Community Club serving as the event location on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Pre-registration fees and deadlines are listed for each event. The 5K has a pre-registration fee of $25 through June 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM US/Central. A Military Veteran entry option is available with free pre-registration through the same deadline. The 1 Mile Fun Run has a pre-registration fee of $10 through the same deadline. Shirts could be added to registrations for a $5 fee through mid-May; shirts will not be ordered after mid-May.
Packet pick-up is available on Thursday, June 4 at the Blue Grass Community Club. Packets and on-site registration are also available the night of the race.
The 5K course runs on streets surrounding Blue Grass and begins and ends at the Blue Grass Community Club. Awards include overall male and female 5K winners and top three in each age group (14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over). The 1 Mile Fun Run awards ribbons to all participants and trophies to overall male and female finishers. Awards will be given at the race site following the race.
Refreshments such as water, popsicles, and cookies will be available after the race. Proceeds benefit the Blue Grass Community Center and the community. Chip timing is used. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
