QC Veteran Outreach Center Run for Veterans - 2027
The event takes place on April 10, 2027 in Walcott, Iowa at 127 Bryant Street. It offers organized running options that raise funds for the Quad City Veterans Outreach Center and provide a way to honor or remember veterans.

- 1 Mile
When registering, participants may provide the name of a veteran to be displayed on an Honor Wall and recognized during event announcements. Registration includes a shirt and a finisher's medal, and the races are timed. Both the 5K and 1 mile include a wheelchair division. The 5K awards overall top three male and female, plus top three male and female in multiple age groups from 8 and under through 80 and over. The 1 mile awards a top male and a top female.
Packet pickup is available Friday, April 9 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Quad City Veterans Outreach Center, 4515 N Fairmount Street, Davenport, Iowa, and before the race on Saturday morning starting at 7:00 AM. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% registration discount. A hat is available for an additional ten dollar purchase. All participants and volunteers receive tickets to a Grill Out at the American Legion after the race.
