About the race
The Duxbury Recreation Department presents the 50th annual Turkey Trot, an out and back 5k road race held in Duxbury the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The course begins and ends in the parking lot in front of the Duxbury Fields Complex at 130 St. George Street.
Bib pick up is handled at the Percy Walker Pool, 175 St. George Street. Participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the local food bank. For the safety of all attendees, dogs should be left at home.
A registration fee applies for the 5k event; listed pricing for the race is $23.39. The event is organized by the town recreation department and uses local streets near the Fields Complex for the route. A map of the course is provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
