Dundee 10k
The Dundee 10k is an open, licensed 10 km road race taking place on Sunday 7 June 2026. The event is organised by Dundee Roadrunners in partnership with Monifieth High School and is licensed by Scottish Athletics. The route is flat and scenic, running between Broughty Ferry and Monifieth.
The course is accurately measured and follows a flat run to Monifieth, includes a loop there, and returns to Broughty Ferry with an additional out-and-back section. Marshals, directional signage and mile markers will be in place. A water station is provided at approximately 4 km and again at 6 km. The finish is in the same place as the start. Timing is chip based; prizes will be decided by finishing order.
Practical arrangements note that the start is on Castle Approach, which will be closed to traffic for the event, and registration is located on Castle Green in Broughty Ferry. There are no changing facilities or showers; a kit drop is available but the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Travel options recommended include active travel, public transport or car sharing; the start is on National Cycle Route 1 and is a short walk from a bus stop. Parking is available nearby.
All finishers receive a customised medal. Cash prizes and age-group awards are offered, team prizes count three per team, and provisional results will be published soon after the race with final results posted on the Scottish Athletics website within a week. First aid cover will be provided. Runners are asked not to wear in-ear headphones unless medically prescribed; bone-conducting headphones are permitted. Entries may be transferred or deferred up to 16 May; refunds are only given if the event is cancelled, minus EntryCentral charges.
