Dundee 10k
The Dundee 10k is a measured 10 km road race organised by Dundee Roadrunners in partnership with Monifieth High School and licensed by Scottish Athletics. The course follows a flat, scenic route between Broughty Ferry and Monifieth, includes a loop and an extra out and back section on the return, and is marked with directional signs and mile markers. Marshals are positioned at key points along the route.
The race is chip timed so an individual's time begins when they cross the start line, while prizes are decided by finishing order. All finishers receive a customised medal. A water station is passed at approximately 4 km and again at 5 km. First aid cover will be provided on the day. The event is held on public paths and runners are asked to follow the headphone policy set by the organisers, with over ear and in ear headphones prohibited unless medically prescribed and bone conducting headphones permitted.
There are no changing facilities or showers; a place to leave kit is provided but organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage. There is no set time limit, though the organisers request advance notice if a runner expects to take more than two hours. Entries can be transferred or deferred up to 16 May and refunds are only offered if the event is cancelled, in which case refunds exclude EntryCentral charges.
