Dundee 10K
The Dundee 10K is scheduled for Sunday 7 June 2026 and follows a measured, flat, scenic route between Broughty Ferry and Monifieth. The course includes a loop and an extra out-and-back section on the return, with route signage, mile markers and marshals at key points. There is a water station passed at approximately 4 km and again at 6 km.
The race is chip timed; recorded time begins when a runner crosses the start line while prizes are decided by finishing order. All finishers receive a customised medal. Cash prizes are awarded for top finishers and in multiple age categories, and team prizes are also offered.
Practical arrangements note that registration takes place on Castle Green in Broughty Ferry and there are no changing facilities or showers. A place to leave kit will be provided but the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage. First aid cover will be available on the day. The finish is in the same location as the start.
The event encourages active travel, public transport or car sharing. The start lies on National Cycle Route 1 and is a short walk from a bus stop; parking is available near the start and at local car parks. Entry transfers or deferrals are permitted up to 16 May. The race is organised by Dundee Roadrunners in partnership with Monifieth High School and is licensed by Scottish Athletics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
