Duncan Ridge Trail 50K and 30K, Vogel State Park, Blairsville GA
The Duncan Ridge Trail events are trail races held at Vogel State Park in the North Georgia Mountains, with courses on the Coosa Backcountry Trail and the Duncan Ridge Trail. The 50K course is an out and back route that uses the Coosa Backcountry Trail north out of the park, crosses HWY 180, then follows the Duncan Ridge Trail to Fish Gap at FS 88 as the turnaround. The 30K follows the same initial route and then leaves the DRT at White Oak Stomp onto FS 39 to Wolf Pen Gap before returning to the Coosa Backcountry Trail and the finish. All running is on trails except for a quarter mile of paved road inside Vogel State Park.
