Duncan Ridge Trail
The Duncan Ridge Trail event in Blairsville, GA offers trail races over 50K and 30K distances, starting and finishing at Vogel State Park’s Lake Trahlyta. The courses use the Coosa Backcountry Trail and the Duncan Ridge Trail and include more than 10,000 feet of elevation gain.

The 50K follows an out-and-back route along the Coosa Backcountry Trail and the Duncan Ridge Trail, turning around at Fish Gap (FS 88) near mile 15.5 and returning to the finish. The 30K follows the same initial route then turns onto FS 39 at White Oak Stomp before returning via the Coosa Backcountry Trail. Nearly all running is on trails, with a short paved section of about a quarter mile inside Vogel State Park. The official finish line is the bridge leading to shelter #1 under the Duncan Ridge banner.
The course is open for a set race window and has strict cut-offs, including enforced cut-off points at the turn-around (mile 15.5) and at AS#7 (mile 27.5). Aid stations are numbered AS#1 through AS#7 and are stocked with water, sports drink, and typical trail race snacks. All proceeds from the event support park volunteers.
