About the race
The 2026 Young Marines Drug Demand Reduction Dash is a chip-timed 5K road race held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps / Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, Virginia. The event is timed by Bishop’s Events, LLC and serves as part of national Red Ribbon Week efforts to remember Enrique “Kiki” Camarena and to recognize law enforcement agents who work against illegal drugs.
All proceeds benefit the Young Marines, a national youth non-profit that promotes self-confidence, academic achievement, veteran recognition, community service, and a drug-free lifestyle. The race awards a finisher’s medal and an event shirt to participants and counts toward the organizer’s Fall Series, with series points posted after the event.
Logistics provided by the organizer include on-site packet pickup at the start line on race day, race day registration, water stations along the course, and restrooms inside the museum. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before September 16; additional shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees listed by the organizer show a lower pre-race price and an increase on race day.
Live race results will be available via an online results service and by QR code at the event; final results with series points are posted the Monday following the race. Staff photos are published after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
