Drayton Manor Road Races
The Drayton Manor events take place at the Drayton Manor Theme Park in Tamworth. This closed-road race provides a unique course through the heart of the park, passing landmarks such as the Accelerator, Stormforce 10, Thomas Land, and the zoo. The event supports Newlife, a charity that provides specialist equipment for disabled and terminally ill children.
The course features accurately marked kilometres with distance flags and marshals positioned along the route to guide participants. The event village includes various food and drink options, and participants can access post-race refreshments at the finish line.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km (24m elevation gain)
- 10 km (48m elevation gain)
Registration includes entry to the Drayton Manor Theme Park, allowing participants to access the rides after the race. All finishers receive a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, and free race photos. Event t-shirts are available for purchase during the registration process.
