Event overview
The ATW Mallory Park Duathlon is a Run-Bike-Run event held at Mallory Park Circuit in Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire. It incorporates a draft-legal Sprint Duathlon Age Group Qualifier for the World Championship. The organiser, ATW, was established in 2011 and runs a national calendar of running, triathlon, duathlon, aquathon, cycling and swimming events with over 40,000 entries a year. The next scheduled race date is 12/04/2026.
Course
The event takes place on a traffic-free race circuit. Run laps are flat and take place on an accurately measured tarmac lap of 1.25 km; a separate lap is used for the first and second runs. The bike course uses the smooth racetrack with a lap length of 2.5 km. The courses are designed to pass the transition area each lap so participants pass the transition and spectator areas multiple times.
Facilities and policies
Parking is available at Mallory Park for £3 per car, collected on exit, with cash preferred; car sharing is encouraged. Dogs are not allowed on site. The event lists Alzheimers Research UK as a partner charity and provides opportunities to donate or fundraise at checkout. For the Age Group Championship qualifier, athletes must register their intent to qualify by 5pm on the Friday before the qualifying race; late registrations do not count. ATW does not offer refunds or transfers to another person, but entries can be transferred to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event without proof. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
