ATW Mallory Park Duathlon
The ATW Mallory Park Duathlon takes place at the Mallory Park Circuit in Leicestershire. This event uses a traffic-free race circuit, providing a tarmac surface for both the running and cycling sections. The venue features a flat 1.25 km run lap and a smooth 2.5 km bike lap. The courses are designed to pass the transition area on every lap, allowing for consistent spectator support.
Participants can choose from several race formats:
- Super Sprint Non-Drafting: 2.5 km run, 10 km bike, and 1.25 km run.
- Sprint Non-Drafting: 5 km run, 20 km bike, and 2.5 km run.
- Sprint Draft-legal: 5 km run, 20 km bike, and 2.5 km run.
The Sprint Draft-legal race serves as a British Triathlon Age-Group Qualifier for the 2027 World Sprint Distance Duathlon Championships. Athletes aiming for qualification must hold a Core or Ultimate British Triathlon membership and register their intent before the specified deadline.
The venue offers on-site camping the night before the event. Facilities include supportive marshals, finish line snacks, and custom-designed medals for finishers.
