DQ Treasure Island Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike, & Kayak Triathlon
The event takes place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Pt Pleasant, New Jersey. Multiple race formats run from the park and use nearby roads and the river for swim and kayak legs. Registration and packet pickup are digital only; paper applications and cash are not accepted. Athletes must pick up their own packets and show photo ID. Multisport participants must hold an active USAT membership and follow USAT rules.
Course formats:
- Triathlon (individual & relay): 1/4 mile swim, 10.5 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Duathlon: 2 mile run, 10.5 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Aquabike: 1/4 mile swim, 10.5 mile bike
- Kayak triathlon (individual & relays): 1.5 mile kayak, 10.5 mile bike, 3 mile run
The swim and kayak legs are held in the river; the swim is an out-and-back course parallel to the beach, and the kayak course goes out to a turnaround and returns counterclockwise around the island. The bike consists of four road loops and the run finishes in the park. Wave start intervals and final water temperatures will be posted before race day; wetsuit rules follow USAT temperature guidelines.
Awards include overall and age-group placements, cash prizes for top overall male and female in several events, and divisions for Clydesdale/Athena, adaptive, and non-binary competitors.
