Downtown Doubler 30K/15K/8K/4K in New Albany
The Downtown Doubler is a set of in-person and virtual races held September 13, 2026 at the City of New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater, along the Ohio River Greenway. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
Distances offered:
- 30K two 15K loops
- 15K single 15K loop
- 8K two 4K loops
- 4K single 4K loop
The course runs along the Ohio River Greenway with views of downtown Louisville and finishes at the New Albany Amphitheater. Each loop measures 15K for the longer course and 4K for the shorter loop; completing two loops yields the 30K distance. Virtual options are available for all four distances with online result submission windows provided by the organizer.
Entry items vary by distance and include technical shirts, a finisher medal, and free finisher photos. Specific items include a long sleeve 1/4 zip for the 30K, long sleeve gender specific shirts for the 15K, and moisture-wicking short sleeves for the 8K and 4K. A custom cooler bag is provided to 30K and 15K entrants; packet mailing is available for an additional $10 if requested by August 31. Awards and age-group prizes are given for overall, master, grandmaster, and age-group placements; minimum age for the 30K is 12.
