Downtown Doubler 30k/15k/8k/4k : New Albany, IN
The Downtown Doubler is a multi distance running event held at the City of New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater and along the Ohio River Greenway on September 13, 2026. The course uses a loop layout: each loop measures 15K (and 4K for the 8K), and completing the loop twice makes the 30K distance. The route runs along the river and offers views of downtown Louisville.

All four distances offer in-person and virtual participation. Virtual entrants can submit results during the event submission window and receive finisher certificates and rankings after submission closes. There is an option to have race packets mailed for a $10 fee if requested by August 31.
Entry includes technical shirts by distance (long sleeve 1/4 zip for the 30K, long sleeve gender specific for the 15K, short sleeve for the 8K and 4K), a finisher medal, and free finisher photos. Awards are given to top finishers overall, masters and grandmasters, and to top three in age groups; the 30K has a minimum age of 12. The Downtown Doubler is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and supports the Ohio River Greenway through an official charity partnership with fundraising incentives.
