Event Overview
The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k is a road race open to all ages, including wheelchair participants. It takes place as part of the Gaslight Festival weekend, a three-day event with arts, crafts, and community organization booths centered in Gaslight Square, Jeffersontown.

The race is a 5k distance. It starts and finishes at the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce.
Registration Details
Registration is available for in-person and virtual participation. There is a discounted "Family of Four Registration" option that offers savings. Prices for the in-person 5k are listed and increase over three registration periods. Virtual runners can complete their 5k between a specified Thursday and Sunday, submitting their time online.
Amenities & Awards
All finishers receive a finisher medal. Participants also receive a long-sleeve cotton blend race shirt. Cash awards and gift certificates are given to the top three male and female finishers overall. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female participants in numerous age groups, ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over. An awards ceremony, power snacks, and door prizes occur after the race.
Packet Pickup
Race day packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m. at Jeffersontown City Hall.
Additional Notes
The event is part of the River City Races "Run the 502" series. Completing six races in the series yields a special finisher medal. The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival is a pet-free event, so dogs are not allowed in the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
