Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k
The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k is a recurring community event held in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. The race begins and ends at the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce, located at 10416 Watterson Trail. This event serves as the kickoff for a larger three-day festival that features over 135 arts and crafts vendors alongside various business and nonprofit organizations.

The in-person race is open to participants of all ages, including wheelchair participants. Following the race, an awards ceremony is held featuring power snacks and door prizes. All finishers receive a medal and a long-sleeve cotton blend shirt. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, with additional medals for the top three in age groups ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over.
This race is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. Participation in six races within this series allows runners to receive a dedicated finisher medal with charms for each race completed. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option allows participants to record their times independently between Thursday and Sunday of the race week. Please note that pets are not permitted at this event.
