Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5K
The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5K is organized at 10416 Watterson Trail in Jeffersontown, KY and is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. The event includes both an in-person walk/run and a virtual option. Over 750 runners start and finish at the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce during the festival weekend.
Registration is open to all ages and includes wheelchair participants. The event is pet free and dogs are not allowed in the race. Race day packet pickup takes place at Jeffersontown City Hall on September 5. Pre-race packet pickup information is listed as TBD.
Participants receive a long sleeve cotton blend race shirt and finisher medals are awarded to all finishers. The event presents cash awards to the top three male and female finishers with amounts of $75, $50, and $25, plus Ken Combs gift certificates valued at $50, $40, and $30. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under through 80 and over.
A family of four registration option is available and offers a ten dollar discount off the combined registration fee. Virtual entries are self-timed and virtual runners are not eligible for event awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
