Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k 2026
The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k takes place in Jeffersontown, Kentucky at 10416 Watterson Trail, Jeffersontown, KY 40299. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and is held during the Gaslight Festival weekend, a three day community festival centered in Gaslight Square with arts and crafts vendors and local organizations.
The walk/run is open for all ages and includes wheelchair participants. More than 750 runners start and finish at the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce. The event is pet free and dogs are not allowed in the race.
Awards include cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the amounts of $75, $50, and $25, plus gift certificates of $50, $40, and $30. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80 and over. All finishers receive a finisher medal and a long sleeve cotton blend race shirt.
A virtual 5K option is offered. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards and virtual packets are not mailed but can be picked up at pre-race or race day packet pickup.
