The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k is a community 5K walk/run held in Jeffersontown, Kentucky at 10416 Watterson Trail. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. The Gaslight 5K is open to all ages and includes provisions for wheelchair and hand cycle participants. The race typically attracts over 750 runners who start and finish at the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce.
There are both in-person and virtual entry options. Virtual participants may complete the distance at a location of their choice and are not eligible for awards; virtual packets are not mailed but may be picked up at packet pickup locations. A family of four registration option offers a $10 discount and requires a team setup.
Awards include cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers and Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates for top overall places. Medals and gift certificates are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups spanning 9 and under through 80 and over. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Registered participants receive a long sleeve cotton blend race shirt.
Packet pickup is available before the race at Clean Eatz, 9545 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, and on race day at Jeffersontown City Hall.
