Downtown Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk : Minneapolis
The Downtown Dash is a 5K fun run/walk on May 20, 2026, held at the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, MN, with the stated location of 100 West River Parkway. The course follows the W River Road trail north from the Stone Arch Bridge to a turnaround point between the Plymouth and Broadway bridges, then returns to the Stone Arch Bridge.
The course will be marked with yellow arrows and supported by volunteers. A cyclist will lead the front of the field and another cyclist will follow the last participants. A single aid station will be available at the intersection of East Island Avenue and Merriam Road. Participants receive a bib and safety pins will be provided.
Logistics note that public street parking surrounds the course and event parking is not provided. Headphones are allowed but participants must be able to hear race officials. Strollers are permitted with check in at packet pick up, pets must be leashed and follow park guidelines, and wheelchair participants are welcome.
Registration details include an early bird fee of $40 through March 31, 2026 and additional registration periods at $45 and $50 with specified deadlines. Register by May 1 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable; minors must provide a parent or guardian signature.
