Downtown Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk
The Downtown Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Minneapolis, MN. The event is based at the Stone Arch Bridge, with the listed location of 100 West River Parkway.
The course is an out and back along the W River Rd trail. Runners and walkers head north from the Stone Arch Bridge to a turnaround point located between the Plymouth and Broadway Bridge, then return to the Stone Arch Bridge. Volunteers, a cyclist leading the front runners, a cyclist following the last participants, and yellow arrows will mark and guide the course. One aid station is located at the intersection of East Island Ave and Merriam Rd.
Participants receive a bib; safety pins are provided. Public street parking is available near the course; event parking is not provided. Headphones are allowed but participants must be able to hear instructions from race officials. Strollers are permitted and should check in at the packet pick-up station. Pets must be leashed and follow park guidelines. Wheelchair users are welcome. Faster runners are asked to line up toward the front and those who will walk some or all of the course are asked to start toward the back.
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; no-shows will not be mailed race packets. Minors require a parent or guardian signature. A portion of proceeds will go to the local nonprofit Appetite For Change.
