Dorney Triathlon - July
The event takes place at Dorney Lake, Court Lane, off Lake End Road, Windsor SL4 6FJ. The race uses a clear lake and flat, scenic grounds that provide a level bike and run course. The event is draft illegal and uses chip timing.
Distances offered include:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
There are additional entry formats: Aquabike options that include swim and bike only, and relay entries with teams of two or three people sharing the disciplines. Categories cover age bands and gender classifications, including Under 50 and 50 and Over for sprint distance, Under 40 and 40 and Over for standard distance, and All Female categories for relevant distances.
Entrants must hold a British Triathlon race licence, either via an annual Core or Ultimate membership or via a single use Race Pass for the event. Wetsuit hire is available through season hire providers and short term hire options are also listed. Entry fees vary by race type and range from £58 to £120. Free parking is available at the venue.
