Dorney Lake Triathlon - 8 August 2026
The event is held at Dorney Lake, Windsor, and is organised in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. It offers multiple race formats over swim, bike and run and takes place at an Olympic venue with a purpose built lake.
Participants can choose individual races, aquabike entries that omit the run, or relay teams of two or three people sharing the disciplines. The course is set out with distance flags and marshals to guide competitors, and results are chip timed.
Race distances include:
- Super Sprint: 400m swim, 9.5km bike (2 laps), 2.5km run
- Sprint: 750m swim, 19km bike (4 laps), 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 38km bike (8 laps), 10km run
The venue has flat grounds that are used for the bike and run courses. Reported elevation changes by race are 20m for Super Sprint, 40m for Sprint and 80m for Standard. All courses are on road terrain.
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results and post race goodies. The event features a serviced event village with food and drink options and a team of marshals.
