Dorney Lake Duathlon
The Dorney Lake Duathlon takes place at a flat and scenic venue in Windsor, which previously served as an Olympic site. The event features multiple distance options on road terrain, utilizing the grounds for both the run and bike segments. The flat profile of the course supports participants aiming for chip-timed personal records.
Participants can choose from several individual formats or enter as a team using the relay option. The relay allows two or three individuals to share the different disciplines of the race. The course is fully marked with distance flags for each discipline, and marshals are stationed throughout the route to provide guidance.
Available distances include:
- Super Sprint: 2.5km run, 9.5km (2 laps) bike, and 2.5km run.
- Sprint: 5km run, 19km (4 laps) bike, and 2.5km run.
- Standard: 10km run, 38km (8 laps) bike, and 5km run.
The venue includes an event village with various food and drink options. Every participant receives chip-timed results, a themed medal, free race photos, and post-race goodies provided by event partners. The organizers place a focus on sustainability and provide marshals to assist throughout the competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
