Remembrance Run 2026 - South
The Remembrance Run is held at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham in Surrey. The event commemorates those who made the ultimate sacrifice; a two minute silence will be observed during the event and two minutes will be removed from official time. Entry prices range from £23 to £37 and a lower entry price, £10 less than full price, is available to members; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini-me medal pin at events.
This is a seven hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how many laps to complete. The minimum recorded distance for an official finish is 3 km. A full lap is shown as 7 km (4.37 miles) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. There are 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap to support UK Athletics distance rules.

The course follows the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% is on well made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can get muddy. Road shoes are acceptable year round; trail shoes may help on the grassy sections. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and distance pins are awarded for half marathon and greater distances. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets, changing facilities and a bag drop are available at the race HQ; the bag drop is not staffed and items are left at the participant's risk. A large pay on exit carpark is at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Final race day instructions are sent by email in the week before the event and race numbers are collected at on the day registration.
