Remembrance Run 2026 - South
The Remembrance Day Run in Surrey commemorates those who made the ultimate sacrifice. During the event a two minute silence will be observed and two minutes will be removed from official times. Walkers are also welcome.
The event is organised as a 7 hour time challenge that lets participants choose how far to run. The minimum recorded distance is 3 km and a full lap measures approximately 7 km (the lap may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions). Laps count towards recognised distances and a 50 km option is offered.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are issued for half marathon and longer distances and one pin is added to the medal ribbon. Finishers receive a goody bag and a vegan goody bag option is available. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap offering savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
Facilities include toilets and changing at race HQ, an unstaffed bag drop, and a large pay on exit car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Members receive a reduced entry fee, guaranteed entry and a mini medal pin, and affiliated club members receive a small entry discount. Headphones are allowed and participants are asked to be considerate of other footpath users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
