SATURN - Remembrance Run 2026 - South
The event takes place on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Egham. It is presented as a 7 hour and 2 minute time challenge that allows participants to choose how many laps to complete. A two minute silence will be observed during the event and two minutes will be deducted from official finish times.
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed and mixes well maintained paths, a short grass section and some trail paths. Sections can become muddy in adverse weather. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race headquarters. Bag drop is provided near the start and finish but it is not staffed and items are left at the participant's own risk.
Distances and lap structure
- Minimum distance 3 km, counted as part of a lap
- Full lap typically 7 km or 4.37 miles
- Lap may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions
- 3 km and 5 km turn points available within the lap
- Half marathon equals 3 laps, marathon equals 6 laps, ultra from 7 laps, 50 km option
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Goody bags are provided with a vegan option. Distance pins are available for half marathon and longer. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap with vegan options. Transfers and deferrals are permitted under the organiser rules.
