Dorney Lake Duathlon
The Dorney Lake Duathlon takes place at the Olympic rowing venue in Windsor. The event features a course held entirely on closed roads within the scenic grounds of the lake. Both the cycling and running sections are flat, with low elevation gains ranging from 20m to 80m depending on the selected distance. The course is chip-timed, and each discipline is marked with distance flags to guide participants.
The event offers several individual distances and a relay option:
- Super Sprint: 2.5km run, 9.5km bike (2 laps), 2.5km run.
- Sprint: 5km run, 19km bike (4 laps), 2.5km run.
- Standard: 10km run, 38km bike (8 laps), 5km run.
- Relay: Teams of 2 or 3 people can share the disciplines.
Participants have access to an event village that includes various food and drink options. Marshals are positioned throughout the course to assist with navigation. Registrants receive free race photos, post-race snacks from event partners, and a themed medal upon finishing their respective distances.
