About the race
The event is a social trail run and winery visit at Greyfriars Vineyard in Puttenham, Surrey. The route starts at the vineyard, runs through the vines and onto North Downs trails, follows a circular course and returns to the winery for lunch and a guided wine tasting. Participants receive a glass of English sparkling wine with the meal.
The running loop covers trails with a few inclines and is run at a chatty, relaxed pace, with the group walking the hills together. A shorter walking route is available. Trail shoes are recommended because the event is on trails. The event will proceed in wet weather. A bag drop is available at the winery.
Travel notes indicate Greyfriars Vineyard is close to Guildford train station and accessible by a short taxi ride. The event includes on-site catering and a guided tasting led by the vineyard team. Refunds are offered up to seven days before the event.
