Run to Wine X Greyfriars Vineyard
Run to Wine X Greyfriars Vineyard is a social outdoor event based at Greyfriars Vineyard in Puttenham, Surrey. The route begins at the vineyard, moves through vines and onto North Downs trails, follows a circular course with views, and finishes back at the winery where participants are served lunch and a glass of English sparkling wine. After the meal there is a guided wine tasting led by the Greyfriars team.
The run is presented as a relaxed, chatty group outing with a route of moderate inclines; the group will walk the hills together. Trails are used for much of the route, so trail shoes are recommended. The event will proceed in wet weather. A bag drop is available at Greyfriars Wine Estate.
Travel information notes that Greyfriars Vineyard is close to Guildford train station and that a taxi from the station takes about eight minutes; the Greyfriars team may assist with return lifts when possible.
