River Thames Half Marathon

River Thames Half Marathon, held in Surrey, starts and finishes at Walton Bridge in Walton-on-Thames (KT12 1BT). The course follows the River Thames towpath from Walton-on-Thames to Hampton Court Bridge, offering scenic views of the non-tidal river on a flat, fast, largely traffic-free route. Now in its sixth year, the event is popular as a PB opportunity or a first half marathon, supported by enthusiastic marshals and efficient organisation.
