Dorney Duathlon & Triathlon - October
The event takes place at Dorney Lake, Court Lane, off Lake End Road, Windsor SL4 6FJ. It offers multiple race formats on a flat, multi lap course around the Olympic venue. The bike and run sections are held off open roads, and drafting is not allowed.
The run course is marked with distance flags. Organisers provide helpers on both the run and bike courses to keep competitors on course and to offer encouragement. Timing is by chip, and the venue is described as suited to attempts at a timed personal best.
Facilities at the venue include a balcony cafe overlooking the transition area, which provides viewing for spectators. Free parking is available.
Participation requires membership of British Triathlon and a valid race licence. Competitors must hold either an annual Core or Ultimate membership or purchase a single use Race Pass when buying their event entry.
