Dorney Lake Triathlon
The Dorney Lake Triathlon takes place at Dorney Lake, Windsor, on 26 September 2026. The event supports Macmillan Cancer Support and lists Macmillan as the RunThrough triathlon partner for 2026.
The venue features a purpose built lake for the swim and primarily flat, road surfaces for the bike and run disciplines. Each discipline is marked with distance flags and the event is chip timed. Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, and post race goodies. Marshals will guide participants around the course and an event village will offer food and drink options including free partner goodies.
There are additional event formats for those who do not wish to run and for teams. An Aquabike option covers swim and bike only. Relay entries allow two or three individuals to share the swim, bike and run disciplines.
Distances and course details
- Super Sprint: 400m swim, 9.5km bike (2 laps), 2.5km run, 20m elevation
- Sprint: 750m swim, 19km bike (4 laps), 5km run, 40m elevation
- Standard: 1500m swim, 38km bike (8 laps), 10km run, 80m elevation
The organiser has researched participant priorities and identifies sustainability as a growing concern. RunThrough memberships can be used for entry but when the event sells out no further places will be available and there will be no member desk or member bib use at the event.
