Dorney Lake Triathlon September 2026
The Dorney Lake Triathlon takes place at the purpose-built Olympic venue in Windsor. This event features a swim in the lake followed by a bike and run course on flat grounds. The venue is designed to support participants seeking chip-timed results on a road terrain with minimal elevation changes.
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances and formats:
- Super Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 9.5km bike (2 laps), and 2.5km run.
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 19km bike (4 laps), and 5km run.
- Standard Triathlon: 1500m swim, 38km bike (8 laps), and 10km run.
- Sprint Relay: Team format sharing the sprint distance disciplines.
- Standard Relay: Team format sharing the standard distance disciplines.
- Sprint Aquabike: A swim and 19km bike event without the run.
- Standard Aquabike: A swim and 38km bike event without the run.
The course is accurately marked with distance flags for each discipline, and marshals are stationed throughout the route to provide guidance. The event includes a well-serviced event village with various food and drink options. Every finisher receives a unique themed medal, post-race goodies from event partners, and access to free race photos.
