2027 Donut Give Up 5k & 10k
This event offers a paved 5k and 10k course that runs alongside the Rappahannock River at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The path is stroller and kid friendly and includes a few small hills. The 5k is an out-and-back course; the 10k covers the 5k loop twice. Walkers and strollers are explicitly welcome.
Points earned at this race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
Participants receive two donut holes, a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before January 6; sizes for later registrants are not guaranteed. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, though t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day entries. Registration fees follow tiered pricing with increases after December 31 and on race morning.
Aid and logistics include water stations along the courses, with Gatorade available at some stations, restrooms near the parking lot, live results via Athlinks, and a QR code at the race for immediate result access. Photos taken by staff will be posted after the event. Volunteers are assigned tasks on race morning.
